Nā Keiki (The Children) Dance for The Cause

Both kamaliʻi (children) and adult students shared their talents to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Our Uncle Felix leads the way with our ukulele and ipu instruments.

Students learn to play the Ukulele from Uncle Felix. Our students have performed and won awards in Ukulele contests over several years.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Uncle Felix is also a master craftsman at creating Hawaiian instruments. Students have had the opportunity to create instruments used for performances, such as the ipu, a percussion instrument made from gourds, and all from scratch!

Taking the show on the road to Oregon!

(Hula From The Heart) Ka Pā Hula o Kawailehuaaʻalaikekuahiwi  traveled to Florence, Oregon to perform. What an experience! The hospitality of locals was tremendous. Auntie Kawai also presented a Workshop that included Hawaiian history and taught a popular hula dance for the song "I Kona."

Ka Pā Hula, had to leave the desert of the Antelope Valley to enjoy the cool beach of the Oregon coast.. A big thank  you to Mary Lou and friends!
